Hyde Park 2-register chronograph Landeron Cal. 48
Hyde Park 5876
Good chrome top/stainless steel snapback case measures 35mm diameter not including crown, by 43mm long, lug to lug. Bezel shows pitting consistent with a watch of this era (mid 1950s) well used, but not abused, by its original owner. This watch has one of the prettiest, crispest dials I have ever seen on a chronograph of this era. Good acrylic crystal, new replacement crown. 17 jewel Landeron Caliber 48 movements sets and winds perfectly, keeps time to within 2 min/day. All chrono functions (start, stop, reset) work fine, and chrono hand zeroes up nicely. Near new 18mm black leather band. Been a while since I've seen such a clean dial on a chronograph.
